The Argumedo's standing at the front door of their home.

The Argumedo's live in Tijuana in extremely difficult conditions. Georgina is the mother of 5 children. While she takes care of the children, Jesenia, who is only 14 years of age, works for others by cleaning houses, washing and cooking. Her meager wages assist her family with the bare necessities.  Georgina also works when she is able. The place the Argumedos call home is built over a canyon. Sheets of plastic cover the roof to keep out the rain while other parts of the roof are tin that is held down by tires and heavy boards.  The children have living fathers but they do not support  or live with the family.

The items that are most needed for the Argumedo family are food and clothing. The needs page shows clothing sizes and food items.

The home of Rosa Lopez and her son Mario 15, shown in the photo.

Rosa Lopez and Mario also live in Tijuana in this tiny home. Rosa was widowed after her husband passed away from a lengthy illness two years ago. Mario seems to have some type of learning or mental disability. The conditions are severe for this family. Their home is made out of plywood with a roof of sheets of plastic that are held down by tires, rocks and boards. Having enough food and clothing are the main items that this family struggles to obtain each day. The needs page shows clothing sizes and food items that are needed.
